SAVE THE MANATEES with AMI Cabanas
Reserve a cabana package and help save a manatee
A % of every reservation goes towards saving the manatees. All Cabana reservations over $500 come with an official adoption of a manatee. Customers will receive information on the manatee they helped protect along with a stuffed animal manatee.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT:
Human activities are harming manatees, and only our compassion and action can protect them.
Manatees are Florida’s official state marine mammal. The IUCN World Conservation Union lists them as vulnerable at the international level. They are listed as threatened at the federal level by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and at the state level by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Their listing status is largely due to human activity. Since record-keeping began in 1974, more than 41% of manatee deaths where the cause of death was identified were human-related – and almost 34% were due to watercraft collisions (the largest known cause of manatee deaths). With increased awareness, education, regulations, and enforcement, manatee deaths caused by humans could be substantially reduced, and the eventual recovery of the species could be realized.

Our owners are dedicated to ensuring that every customer has a great experience, from start to finish. Our Co Founder is a AMI native who was born and raised locally and knows exactly what you need to enjoy your day at the beach. With a large family of 9 we know the struggles of hauling all your equipment down to the beach, so why not let the pros take care of you, after all you're on vacation.

Our 10x10 cabanas are made with premium materials and configured to provide you with the optimal amount of shade. We also have chairs, towels, beach toys, baby items and other gear that will enhance your beach day experience. Something else you would like at the beach? Let us know and we can make it happen. Our rental hours are from 10am-5pm
